As for the other companions, they don’t make this list because they have issues with one or more of members listed above. Each member of the Kingsguard is pure infantry and they’re amazing troops to have. They NEVER have a problem with the companions in the above list but they do not necessarily have good personality types. Anyways, there are 8 Kingsguard and they all are eligible (as far as I know) to become a member of your party. I have no idea if there is another way to recruit them. They have to have bee taken prisoner and you must rescue them. You can recruit every single member of the Kingsguard.
